  • Thunderbird in the media

Had a minor mishap with the Icon. Took it to a friend who owns a body
shop. He had just opened a new location and was making new commercials.
Mostly of real customer testimonials. I agreed to help him out. This
ran on local Omaha stations for at least 6 months. Out of all the ones he made,
it is the only one he puts on his website.
    Watch the video here.

Boyd has won best of Omaha 4 years running and has won BBB integrity award.
If anyone in the area needs a shop, I recommend him.

It was funny after that aired, I got calls from folks I have not talked to in years. I bumped into an old co-worker at Target and he said "Gee Ron, the last time I saw you was on TV!". I laughed.

This reminds me of some footage I should have on a VCR tape from 2001 or 2002 when I went with a few Ford Canada employees into Toronto to CITY TV, a early morning show called "Breakfast Television". One of them you should know as 'Mark Conforzi', a member of the T'bird design team who came in from Detroit. He had a yellow 2002, I took in our 1966 convertible, and someone else had a '56 trailored in. Should try to find it and have it put onto a disc. May be of interest to Dot if she collects this type of thing. For my time Ford presented me with some nice gifts pertaining to the 2002 Bird if memory serves me correct.

Would be of interest to me if you get that done, Martin.

I picked up one of Mark Conforzi's prints on hardboard and also one of the t-shirts that the Ford Collection had later on of that same print. I think George has pretty much worn the print out on that t-shirt though.
