I often wonder what my life would have been like had Ford not helped me earn an engineering degree. From an early age I dreamed of working in the auto industry, but it was only through Ford co-op program at the Chicago assembly plant that I was able to pay for my education. I'm retired now and own a hardware store. When I'm not working, I can be found driving my 2004 Thunderbird with a custom-built trailer. People often think that my license plate is an homage to Ford for the rebirth of the Thunderbird, but for me, it has a much deeper meaning.
