It's the over the top, out of the shute, controversial tone that most people do not like...... Easy to take a shot at strangers....... many of us have become friends and we treat each other with respect. I did not purchase a trunk rack but I am not about to make a fool of myself by condeming those who did.

Plus 1. Good Post. By the by, I did Purchase one. Am am extremely happy with the Quality, the Fit, and the Look when used. But you don't have one Phil, so you wouldn't know that. However whereas I have been to Southeastern Pennsylvania. I can say unequivically that it is NOT beautiful.

WOW! How has something that is an add-on to a beautiful auto become such a huge point of contention. It is beyond me. To those of you who do not appreciate this latest, well that's just fine. To those of you who do appreciate the trunk rack, well that's just fine too.

Sry bout that Mike. It was used as an example of seeing versus believing. Besides, I consider SE PA as just Philly. Use to work there, wasn't pretty, Nor (at the time) was the Quality. Soooooo, to me, it was a perfect parable.

Good challenge, our cars have beutiful lines that are uncompromizing...However, from a roadster standpoint I will always remember when I saw those earley sportscars with luggage racks on them that presentented an image go anywhere, do anything that just sucked me in!!

What it comes down to is this. Whoever you may be, it's your car and your $$'s. What you do with both is up to you. I bought the rack and it will be on the Bird on Event Trips only. We have been going to these events from the very beginning and a little more room for packing wouldn't hurt at all. When not on an Event Trip the rack will come off.

There are many add ons that people have done over the years. Some of these I like and some I don't but like I said, it's their car and their $$'s so it's up to the owner to decide what they want on their car and what they don't want.

I'm not sure I understand why anyone should care what anyone else thinks. Last I heard, we owned these cars individually. If they have now become communal property I must have missed that memo.

ill agree with this. i just cant stand the look of them, they are however useful i guess. if you want to know how i really feel you can pm me. theres some other stuff that is god awful that ive seen on these cars that i cant stand either.
