Walgreens T-bird

While in my Chicago Walgreens today, I saw a yollow t-bird about 8 inches long. It is yellow with Neiman Marcus wheels. It has black interior and the top is down. Price $9.95. It is titled as 2000.

Ed, did it come in a box? if so, check the box over and see if it says "motormax" or "redbox". you might have to check the fine print on the box.

More info on T-bird toy

The box is way too heavy to be plastic. It look like the doors, trunk and hood open. It is made in China (1/24 scale) and distributed by Premium Cars USA
835 Tiburn Tiburn CA 94920. The car is in the toy section along with other domestic and foreign sport and muscle cars by the same company. The color seems really close to the rare 2005 yellow T-bird color. (Inca Gold). Maybe some members with that color or the older yellow color would be interested.

Hi there,

Just got back from lunch and whilst I was in the local Walgreens choosing a birthday card, I remembered about this post. So, I asked one of the assistants to show me the model cars and this morning he had just dropped the price to $5.00. Unfortunately, they did not have any Thunderbird models. A very good price though if you want Mustangs or Cobras or Corvettes, Also lots of other muscle cars.

I was in two Walgreens today, one in Hobart, In. andone here in Portage. They both had them, but not the retro birds. I found a 1956 Yellow and a 1956 Red. The box says American Graffiti. They both have the continental kit with removeable tire, no tops. If anyone wants one let me know. Leroy

None here either. However, I did by 6. 2 Mustangs, 2 Shelbys, A 57 Vette, and and a 48 Ford Pick-up. That's all they had, so I thought I should rescue them.
