  • Behind the seat cooler

I found this information on the portholeauthority.com website (thanks Dot). Rubbermaid makes a cooler that will hold 2 six packs of your favorite or a couple liter bottles plus ice. It's thin enough to rest on the "shelf" behind the seats and available from several places. I ordered one from US Plastics because it was about 10 bucks cheaper that other places. The only problem, it only comes in red or blue. Used it last year on a trip, very convenient, even has a carrying strap

Bruce - several people here have painted their coolers. You can use the plastic paint and it should work great in Black. I'd even paint the top a Saddle color to completely match your bird.

I found these. More expensive and don't know if they fit but would serve as heater/coolers.

We have one of these (red of course). We won ours at Thunder Fever. Love it. But don't try to put it in the trunk. Trunk lid will not close.

Just an observation -- With that cooler on the ledge, and a passenger occupying that seat, where is a lady to put her purse?

Marilyn, there's still room on either side of the cooler for a purse.
