Just now seeing this thread. I painted the plastic on the top of the arm rests Merlot long ago. Also painted the two speaker covers on either side on the drive shaft hump. Just a little color in the all black interior, makes a nice interior.
Just got my centre armrest recovered by a friend of mine who is an outstanding upholsterer. He found a colour very close to the TBird blue interior, it's a tad lighter, but not really noticeable. You really would think it was done by the factory - his stiching work is exactly as the original.
