I have never been able to successfully use replacement tape on any emblems. Hi there,
Dot, if you may have noticed I have two badges on the front of our grill, one shows an American flag, the other, a British Union Jack. Both these are attached with a wad of 3M tape pushed into the holes in the grill. They have been on there over a year now and have not budged any. My third V8 badge is also held on with small amounts of the 3M and again, it's stuck fine.
I got mine from my local Autozone store.

Dot,
I buy all of my 3M emblem tape at Home Depot. They now carry the heavy duty version as well, can supposedly support 50 lbs.Last edited by Blue Heaven; Apr 14, 2009, 02:47 PM.
