Re: Proper Use of California Duster???

These tops are not tissue paper. When I wash the car I use soap to clean it, and for the times when it collects visible debris, I use a plastic scrub brush. Works fine and will not damage the top...

Here's something new for people who use lint rollers on the convertible top.

      Mr. Sticky

      Anyone tried this yet?

That looks pretty good, Wes. I just might order them.

          Wes,
We had a couple of these in the past for picking up cat fur. It was good for that. I also tried it on the convertible top, but it didn't work too well, it seems these are more applicable to a surface that "gives", like a sofa or clothes. Since the top is fairly rigid, it had trouble picking up the smaller lint and debris unless you really applied some pressure. The tape rollers do a better job for me.

I use Duct Tape on Rag top..
Pull approx 14" off and stick the two ends together with sticky side out and dap it on soft top turing tape until top is free of lint and dirt..
And I have washed my Duster for years and works fine but looks old.

Well, I run my bird through the local carwash and I have never had a problem.

I use micro fiber towels on the soft top.
