First, I know this will not be a typical situation and the stands are commonly kept in the garage. I'm thinking about how to be prepared when displaying the hardtop off the car during a car show and an unexpected breeze or gusts of wind stir up. Does anyone have any experiences, good or bad, when using the hardtop stand outside on a breezy/windy day. How susceptible is the stand to tipping when air movement increases? Should I be concerned?

Re: using the h/t stand on a windy day
I'd be concerned. You wouldn't want it to tip over into someone else's show car let alone yours - and it could tip if the wind caught it just right. or stand could roll and hit another car if you're on blacktop.
If the wind starts up, you may have to just install the top back on the car. The only time I've ever taken the hardtop stand for the top is to an indoor show.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

What size did you get, and were they dual wheel or single?
Yep, Ford sure saved a lot of money by taking the casters off all the office chairs and computer stands for our HT carts.

Kevin:
How about a nice 8X10 photo of the car with the top on displayed somewhere near the car to verify that you do have a hardtop? Easier to carry or store. And more storage room inside the car without it.

I would guess they are about 4" wheels and all lock up for storage. About $10.00 each approx.
