I think I paid more than this for mine. I'd be a bidder if I didn't have one. They are great for identifying parts & parts numbers. Mine has a CD version too.

I have ordered a set, at least I will be able to take things apart when problems arise, or at least show my neighbour as he has just about every tool you could ever want and knows how to use them.
Use to do all of my own work when you opened the hood, crawled in with a tool box and coffee, but now everything is covered in plastic to hide what you are looking for, and the coffee falls off the round fenders.

Shop manuals arrived today, they were in very good condition as described. I can tell they had been looked at but no greasy finger prints.
So here's hoping it's like insurance, that I won't have any problems and actually have to use them.

Recommendation:

If you are happy with price, buy a set of shop manuals for any car you have even if you do not work on cars. I have bought a set for (almost) every car I have owned. I regularly page thru certain sections: thermostat replacement, brake replacement, etc. This 'cheat sheet' allows me to prevent someone from ripping me off. It also gives me an understanding of various parts of the vehicle.

Well worth it, in my mind.

Sounds like good advice, Ed. Also think of how useful they'll be when it comes time for that rotisserie restoration project once these cars move from special interest to rare collectibles. And yes, they'll get there some day. No doubt about it.
