Anyone planning to attend on Saturday?

I'm considering it, but there's a classic car show in Washington Township on Sunday. I'm really tempted to go to the old car show, because 1) I like to display my Galaxie and 2) I don't know how many more years/shows the old gal has in her.

Jerry, we are going, went last year for the first time and it was a great show. tons of Tbirds. Food, music. We even took a first place in our category. (beginners luck) Met some other TBN'ers there also, who i believe are going this year also.

Last Pompton Plains show I attended was 2006.

On the club website, 2006 pictures (2nd row), there's a picture of my white 58 TBird.

Sold her in 2006.

Too many toys, and I just could not part with the 64 Galaxie.

Its really a sight to see. Gene drives 100 yards, gets out, walks back to the other car, drives it 200 yards, walks back to the other car...drives it 200 yards....etc....

it takes awhile, but he does get both birds there eventually....

That's why I'm leaving now.

Don't let them get to you Gene, That 1975 will probably outlast most of these 'retro' Birds. And when they break down, (cop's etc.) you could probably tow a half dozen of them with no problem.

ps. Used to have a '74 with the 460 engine and it was great for pulling a trailer with the '66 or '58 bird on it. Wish I still had it.

Actually my '75 has the factory towing package making it quite rare. She starts right up after her long winter nap even without a battery tender. Try doing that with a retro.

We'll be there! Just checked weather and only a chance of a shower late afternoon. I sure hope they are correct. Also we plan on going from Pompton Plains to Augusta for Wanderer's cruise night at the Chatterbox.

The Pompton Plains, NJ - ALL Thunderbird Show is a "FANTASTIC" Thunderbird ONLY SHOW! Unfortunately Kathy and I will not be able to attend this year due to a family illness! Believe me, we would if we could!
