Couple of photos of my latest mod....bought a hard tonneau from another member here. It's a flat one that I've wanted, rather than paint to match my car, I took it to a local upholstery shop and had it covered with vinyl to match the top portion of the dash and upper door panels. Came out fantastic. Going to try and post photos here, we'll see.

Re: My latest mod...
Not 100% sure who manufactured this one, I believe it was one of the ones by Kustomotive 2000. I bought it from RetiredBirdman from Vegas. I always liked the flat ones, to me was just a cleaner / simpler look. Covering with vinyl eliminated the possibility of scratches and such. I like it. I have a BAD HABIT of getting what I want. When looking at what I have invested in Borlas, K&N Cold Air, SCT Tuner, Chrome Rims, Luggage Rack, Hard Tonneau & Upholstery....I think it's time to stop. Oh wait, can't stop yet, still have to find the right luggage for the luggage rack.Originally posted by SixPac View PostBradford,
That looks good. I too like the way it blends in with the dash and door panels. I also like the flat look. Do you know who made it?

Re: My latest mod...
Looks excellent Bradford. The vinyl covering really works well.
The first time I saw this hard tonneau cover was when Bill had it on his car during Desert Thunder. I definitely like the look a lot better than the sport roadster style which I usually see.
The red pinstripe really sets the car off nicely too.Last edited by BirdsAndBugs; Aug 23, 2009, 07:36 PM.

Re: My latest mod...
Here's an idea, Bradford. Since you found vinyl to match the dash, why not have some custom luggage made with that same vinyl?Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

I have actually thought about it, or at least have some custom zippered covers to go over luggage.sigpicBradford + TOTM April 2009 05 Thunderbird Cashmere #702 /1500 , ' 04 Acura TL, '79 Buick Electra Limited, Landau Coupe, '67 Mustang Convertible

Looks GREAT Bradford!
Charlie, I'm pretty sure Gary Kimmel still offers the flat, two piece tonneau.Originally posted by SixPac View PostThat looks good. I too like the way it blends in with the dash and door panels. I also like the flat look. Do you know who made it?

Re: My latest mod...
Very nice Bradford. It is in fact manufactured by Kustomotive in LV, NV who is no longer in business. I have the exact same one.http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/membe...00&ppuser=1190
