Funbird Is 8 Years Old Today.

Hard to believe it, but it was 8 years ago today that I took delivery of my Torch Red '02. It has been a great ride for 21,700 miles. A lot has happened in those 8 years, from the very lowest to the very highest of life's experiences. But the TBird has always been an exciting, comforting constant. I hope to get 3, maybe even 4 times more enjoyment out of it. 5 times is probably a little too optimistic - it would put me over 100 years old. But maybe my children, or one of my grandchildren, or even great grandchildren, can drive me around.

Skip, Congrats, I know you'll have many more years of enjoyment with Funbird. Our Misty Blue won't be that old till Jan. of 2010, a few months away.

The actual "birth" or assembly date is August 7,2001, but I always look at the delivery date as it's official anniversary date, at least as far as I am concerned.

Congratulations Skip, we're not too far behind you. Ours will be 8 years old on Nov. 5. 47,000 miles and still runs like new.
