can i remover resonator on my exhuast. just put new flowmaster exhuast but didn't replace resonator. can i just put a straighht pipe instead of replacing it

Yes, you can replace the resonator with just a straight pie, BUT, you are violating the EPA emissions laws, and depending on who does it, you may not be able to find a shop do it because legally, they can't in most, if not all states.

Steven: What you are not allowed to remove is the 'catalitic converters'. There should be no problem removing the 'resonators' (most cars don't even have any) as they are just there to make the car quiter. By removing them you will certainly get more of a drone from under the car but not necessarily a louder sound from the rear end.
