I know that we've had threads before where we've stated why we bought our thunderbird, but yesterday I heard a story that I just had to share.
I was on the phone with a member of our board and ended up saying that I was going to a tbird event next week. In talking about it he stated that his daughter had a White retro bird and told me about the purchase decision.
He said that they were looking at various convertibles for her to buy and one of the last ones to test drive was a BMW roadster. When she got back from the test drive he asked her what she thought. She responded "Dad - I know that the BMW may be better mechanically, but I LOOK better in the Thunderbird."
They went back and bought the Tbird. He said that he had to agree with her and laughed that it was all about the looks and no doubt that the looks of the thunderbird turn more heads.
If only you knew this gentleman - it was a pretty funny discussion.
