Re: Barrett Jackson Vegas 2009
I like the Mecum Show better.
They sold a 69 Torino CobraJet, dark green, fastback.
Really stood out amongst all the Camaros, Chevelles, and Mustangs.
I think it went for around 30K.2010 Explorer Limited Edition, tri color white, camel interior
2003 TBird black/saddle
1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL conv't turq/black
2004 Lincoln LS 8 Sport light tundra metallic/medium stone

Re: Barrett Jackson Vegas 2009
robbie199, Put it on EBay. You can put what ever reserve you want on it there. You'll get a good idea of what your car is worth even if you're not really interested in selling it. I think the last time I listed a car on Ebay it cost me about $30.00 for a 7 day listing, but it all depends on how many pictures you include and how fancy you want to get. I've sold alot of stuff on EBay as well as bought. I found my TBird on EBay. Leroy

Re: Barrett Jackson Vegas 2009
No way and no how would I put my car across the block at BJ. Too many stories of them gaveling down a car fast, well under what it would have brought.Originally posted by robbie199 View PostAny retro birds going accross the block?
Then the car reappears some time at BJ, and hits the jackpot by comparison to what happened the previous time. I read that a number of folks have sued BJ over this kind of thing.
Just what I heard/read and want to share that here.
Not sure if they have/allow a minimum reserve. I highly doubt it.

In the past they allowed a reserve, now they have so many sellers trying to get their car in the auction the will only take with no reserve.Originally posted by lmartun View PostNot sure if they have/allow a minimum reserve. I highly doubt it.

Re: Barrett Jackson Vegas 2009
I know Mecum allows for a reseve price to be set. I always wanted to attend one of thes auctions. If I do, I'll register a car and place a reserve price that I will be happy with. I think it would be fun...
