SHE HAS ARRIVED!!!!

Can't believe it actually arrived one day early. She made the trip from Chicago IL. to Port Saint Lucie Florida with no problems. The car transporter said it did not even rain the entire trip till he was about 80 miles away. This bird has no disappointments. 200 miles and factory fresh. The floor mats have never been out of the trunk. All the xtras are still plastic wrapped. I feel like we are in a time warp. Joann was very well pleased she said "NOW WHAT DO WE DO". I said drive it like you want to it's your baby .But dont take it to the wal-mart parking lot. lol. Yes we have decided to enjoy this bird to the fullest.We have made the mistake in the past to make a car a garage queen . After 19 yrs Joann never really enjoyed her mercedes 1991 500 sl .It stayed in our garage most of the time. Now we are going to sell it to make room for our new t-bird . To my surprise she not giving this decision a second thought. She has told every one "I HAVE ALWAY'S WANTED ONE OF THESE"

Just in case it has not been done, unless you know for sure it has before delivery.... Change the oil and oil filter. And while you are at it check the air filter to make sure creepy crawlers have not damaged it with webbing or used it for dinner. Might want to check the cabin filter for same.

No its a v8 sl600 were v12 THE v8 was 328 hp. very quick.

Congratulations! Joann. now I do drive mine to Walmarts but I always park out away from the rest. lol so far so good. The worst spots for ours have been restaurant parking lots and for some reason, George thinks he has to park as close as he can get! It's like pulling teeth to get him to park in the far out reaches of a restaurant lot.

Just kidding . someone bought it new as an investment stored it thinking the value would appreciate faster. When it did not and the economy being thin as it is he decide to cash in his chips.

Many of us are now re-experiencing the unforgetable moment we walked out of the dealer's showroom and put the keys to our new Retro Bird's ignition and drove off the lot. What a great HIGH! We hope to see you at our events.
