        Re: Interesting tire information

After watching the video, I went out and checked the new tires I had put on my truck at Sears about 4 months ago. It was easy for me to see the date code becuase I didn't want the white outlined lettering on the outside. I was releived to see they were made the 4th week of 2009. I'll check my TBird next, just for the heck of it. They're the original tires so they're 6 yrs old at least with a little over 16K on them. This just might be the excuse I needed to get those new tires I've been thinking about? Leroy

It's tuff choice, but right now I'm leaning twards the Red Lines since I have the partial Red interior and then maybe a Red pin stripe from the fender louvers to the tail lights. I like the Whitewalls, but not with the wheels I have or on a Black car, as much as I like them on custom or wire wheels on the lighter colored cars with a White hard top. I think I'm going with the bigger tire size too? Does anyone out there have Red Lines? Leroy

Diamondback Redlines. Driven a couple of thousand miles and I am very pleased with the ride and handling. They draw lots of attention on a white car.

                Ken,
Very nice. Since I have seen your car in person, I know what a great looking ride it is. The pictures are good, but they really don't do it justice.

Thanks, Claude!! Photography is not my strong suit!!! The redlines draw a lot of attention. Ken

I am in the market for tires this spring and really like the look of these as our car is the same as yours! Where did you find these and are they as good as the stock tires? Appreciate any feedback, and your car looks killer!

Leroy, They are Diamondback ,1 Series 235-55R17.( www.dbtires,com Page 25 in Diamondbacks catalog.) So far I like them much better than the OEM tires. They are quieter and seem to grip the road real well. A little more expensive than the originals, but I feel they are worth the difference.
