Does anybody have a 54" piece of 5/8" chrome left over that they would be willing to part with? It will be the last piece on my new project. Pictures to follow.

With all the chrome add-ons available, we may be approaching 1958 Oldsmobile territory.

Here is my latest addition to the chrome mods. I also found a photo of a black 1956 T-Bird like Steve did to start all of this with his grill mod. My mod is with the hardtop. It looks like it should have been there from the factory.
Mike, I never thought about that. I guess the 56 didn't have it and I never saw it. All of you on the site have a way to take it to the next level. Here is the pict that got me going and one last one from the other side. Windows and base of top was 1/4" and back window was 1/8". The last piece would be on the leading edge of the top which I hoped I could purchase from someone on this site. I hate to by 20' when I only need 54" to 56". Dick
So many ways that this car could have been improved.

It's my understanding that the designers wanted to create a car that would be open to mods by the owner. In today's world aftermarket items and styling changes are huge. I think they hit a home run, but I'm prejudiced of course.
