LED Tail/Turn Signal Bulbs?

Hi Everyone:

I saw some older posts on this but, unless I am missing some posts somewhere, I didn't see anything definitive from people who have changed to LED for the tail/brake/turn signal bulbs.

Anyone do this? How do they look? Did you have to use resistors to adjust the 'load'? My preference would be for the 'dual intensity' led's.

Roger did you see my reply in the other thread you started on April 1st. It was post # 5 of that thread? In it I gave you a source for LEDs that are made with the loading resistor built in.

I use v-leds in my supplemental lights with great success. I have not changed out my tail lights yet, but plan to do this during the summer.

V-leds make many different applications, just put our T-Bird lamp number in their search box and it will take you to V-leds' replacement led bulb.

V-leds' is easy to work with and build a very good product. You will have no trouble with them or their product.

I tried LEDs in my taillights and they did not work properly. I had to go back to standard bulbs. As I recall, they worked as brake lights but not signals or visa versa.

I did see your post but was hoping someone would post who has successfully installed the LED's as tail/turn signals. :)

Okay, now I see what you are requesting.
Yes it would be good to hear from someone who has had success with LEDs in the tail light brake/turn signal lamps.

Is there anyone out there?
