Retro bird magazine articles continue to be scarce...I did find at a recent foray to the bookstore:

Die Cast X Summer 2010
p 18 to 25 article about auto advertising...mention and photo of retro bird hardtop and porthole...decribes "Let the Stories Begin" campaign.

Cars & Parts April 2010 has article on value of classic Little Birds, brief and to the point.

Maybe a dumb question but how rare is a copy of Motor Trends 2002 car of the year. Does anybody ever see any for sale? Be kinda neat to have one.

not rare, on ebay all the time, maybe look for website to buy a back issue

Motor Trend's articles can be found on their web-site, however, I have not found a way to print out the article only with it's pictures.

Thanks for the Motor Trend Article links.

I was able to print the articles, including photos, out as PDF's. But, I was not able to just print the articles alone without all the MT advertising on each web page. And some pages of the articles took two PDF pages. Oh well, at least I have them now.

The separate Motor Trend Gallery photos were not very clear though, so I didn't print those out.

Highlight just article and picture not whole page, click "file" and select print preview, at top center of page change "as laid out" to "as selected on screen" click"print"

That sounds do-able, but tedious. The articles are multi-page, and you have to navigate to each page. Too bad that just don't have a PDF file for each article on their web-site.
