did ford ever make a supercharged version of this car? Some people say yes and some say no. Which one is it?

Who says they did?
I think that one factory version was supercharged... and, I have only ever heard of two custom versions that were (claimed) to have been supercharged.
In a posting here a couple of years ago a guy claimed to have added the supercharger but when questioned about details he failed to produce any.

yes they made ONE. but I wouldn't call it "factory" but a preproduction model which are usually custom built from a base model. It is in the care of a collector in North Carolina, who is also a member of this forum.
