Re: Drive it or store it??
Up to you. I drive mine pretty much only when I'm at an event. On a rare occasion I take it for a spin on a beautiful day. I have 2, 1 has 8,700 miles on it, the other 1,300. The NM (1,300) I just got last July.

Re: Drive it or store it??
I say drive it. With 2k on the odometer it will never be "new" again. Not being titled is a technicality of paperwork. Besides lots of bad stuff can happen to a car from sitting. I have a very low mileage '75 Bird that's being towed this morning because I stored it all winter and didn't run it. I've learned my lesson. So....get in your car, put the top down, enjoy! Besides, driving these cars is the best legal way I know of to have fun.

Re: Drive it or store it??
Well I am a storer, partly because I want to be and partly because I live in New England with salt, sand, snow and ice for 4 or 5 months out of the year. I own 2 Birds bought new the '03 Red has a little over 14K and the '05 Inca has a little over 5K.http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/membe...00&ppuser=1190
'03 T-Bird -Torch Red
'05 T-Bird - Inca Gold

Re: Drive it or store it??
I'm a storer like Chuck. My '05 has just over 2,300 miles on her, but when I get her out for a drive, it's really a treat. Bottom line is do what makes you happy - don't worry about the resale market. That's not the reason mine is a garage queen; it's got more sentimental value to me than it will ever have resale value.

Re: Drive it or store it??
Hi Don,
Welcome and I join in saying, Drive It! They're great cars, lots of fun, and get lots of attention. You'll get more enjoyment driving it than the possible value years from now. We bought ours for touring and have taken two week-long trips and a number of one-day cruises. Love it!

Re: Drive it or store it??
OK ,not to be morbid but you could be hit by a bus tomorrow or get cancer next week and what the heck was the good of having a fine motorcar rotting in the garage...do you want your wife's new boyfriend driving it? take her out and drive her...you will never make your original investment back.king of the one liners and prince of the messy garage.

Re: Drive it or store it??
Drive it! I've got a 110,000 on mine and counting (Daily driver). By it just sitting, all sorts of problems begin to creep up due to parts not getting lubricated inside the engine and out...
