    Western/Southern Caravan to 55th Anniversary Event

    Come one, come all and join the caravan to Dearborn!!

    15AGAIN, Dizzbe, 02TBIRD, Gobird and 2K2BIRD will gather in northern Indiana for the final run into the town that Henry built.

    Here are the paticulars on the hotel for Wednesday night,June 23rd:

    Holiday Inn Express - Fremont, IN

    $76 per night for 1 or 2 beds with breakfast - ask for the Thunderbird Rate.

    If you have any problems ask to speak to Mike Rucinski the General Manager.

    ANOTHER BONUS for caravan participants:

    Guided tour of Michigan International Speedway by Tim Booth, Director of Hospitality for the track on Thursday as we make our way to Dearborn!!!!

    Who knows what else we'll get into along the way.

    All are welcome so make your reservations and join us there.

      Will keep your track time in mind but caravan up is out. Maybe on the return?

          Reservations have been made. It was a little further than what we had planned on driving the first day, but to meet old friends will be worth it. See ya there.

            Just South of Fremont is Auburn, Indiana where there is a wonderfull Mueseum full of Classic cars, it's the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Automobile Museum just off of I-69 at State Road 8. They're open 9 to 5 everyday and there is a admission fee. Might be worth a stop on the way home. Leroy

                We'll be leaving Sebring on Tuesday morning and take two days on the road to get that far. Getting old does have it's drawbacks.

                    Wow, after only one day we have 7 Thunderbirds signed up for this caravan. We made our reservations for Fremont while we were traveling in Minnesota today.

                    It is great to have everyone joining in the fun. We just saw a some of you at the Shacks but it has been awhile since we have seen Mike or Roger & Sharon. Glad to have you along!

                        Paul, I would say gave me a call and we could have met, but I'm up near Grand Forks, ND visiting my mother. Will be back tomorrow in the twin cities. If your still around give us a call.

                        PS; You must not be in the T-Bird or your state map would show red.

                          We are in the Edge and have a couple of granddaughters with us. They came with us to see their cousin graduate.

                          Taryn, the granddaughter that lives here in Minnesota, graduated today and will be going to St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN this fall.

                            We will be leaving Austin, Texas on 6/21 hope to get up to Fremont by wed evening. I will make reservations and go for it. A little over 1280 miles for 2 days.
