All Thunderbird Show-n-Shine last week.

Finally back home from a wonderful but very wet week at the Okanagan Classic Thunderbird Club's 18th annual Show & Shine.

The Show & Shine was held on a very wet Saturday May 29th. It was a slow steady shower until about 2 in the afternoon. Almost all the convertibles remained closed. Great turn out of 89 T-Birds of all years, colors & body styles.

The show & shine was followed by a awards banquet and then the next 3 days those that wanted participated in a Canyons & Curves 3 day cruise on some of British Columbia's back roads. More rain everyday but it never spoiled our fun.

Yes there was 17 retro Birds out of the 89 total.
Guess who won 1st place for the 2002-2005 class?

Beautiful T-birds and Beautiful countryside and very nice presentation, but how did that '63 Chevy get in there? Looked nice though!

The 63 chevy belongs to a friend of a friend. It is completely original, nothing added nothing changed and he is the first only owner. Going thru some of the tunnels he would blow the horn, well we all did, but the Chevy's horn sounds more like train. Gave all that heard it a good laugh.

The 3 day cruise always seems to have 1 or 2 odd pieces that are not Thunderbirds. This just makes the adventure more fun.

Looks like the Thunderbirds from 1955-1966 as well as 2002-2005 were well represented. There didn't appear to be any Thunderbirds from the 1967 to 1997 model years. I guess most of those model year Thunderbirds ended up being daily drivers and have long been worn out.
