1. the building and collection are really good for about a dozen people.

2. Icould go to the building with the 1;00 test track group, and we can visit.

3. They can leave anytime they want

4. I'll stay for the 2:30 group to do test drive and come down, then go back for dinner with them. (2;30 to 4:00 for test track, 4;30 to 5:30 to see collection, back to Ritz by 6:00...maybe a little tight, if you wanted to go back to room)(I'm thinking dinner won't be exactly at 6:00)

5. I can be available a different time also

6. What if I try for subs for lunch between Fairlane tour and test track?

7 What about Sunday morning plans? Building is close by south on M39 close to I 94, and I 75 as you leave town.

Maybe if we continue the test track to a road race we could make it to Steve's collection by 4:15 to 5:15 then back to the hotel by 5:30

Just watch out for Roger. He'll pass you for that nasty flag. Only this time, I'm not going to watch - when they ask if I saw anything I'll revert to Hogans Hero's "I KNOW NOTHING!"

no fair, no fair, we have to zip home, unload, wash, pack another car and takeoff all in 1.5 days.
Unless we get off that track early, not sure we'll be making Steve's collection, 1 hour is never enough for me.

what do you think about Thursday evening after the kick off BBQ?

1. less traffic to and from building
2. open ended visit
3.did someone say...beer?
4. hard core could see Chevy project in the other workshop
5 how late can you stay up?

Thursday is fine. Maybe we can leave BBQ early, no limit on number attending, maybe only a dozen at a time in the side of the building where the collection is.
Paul, you know what I mean...it gets crowded there.

But some can visit on the other side of the building and rotate through, eh? I prefer it that way

Should I put some beer and pop on ice?

Chevy project is in different building 2 1/2 miles away. Not a big deal to go over. Remember it's a working shop...dusty and dirty, tools and manly stuff...(insert chest thumping here) Argh argh argh
