Paul and Spence, that picture is not of my car, the pic is of the concept car showing the gauges that Roger requested in his post 13.

Julie, I believe at least one of those three gauges is for the "boost" reading on the super-charger.

Real time windsheet washer fluid gauge... then the voices would stop whispering to me about it.

        Thanks!

How 'bout a "car coolness gauge" that would measure how cool your car looks compared to the ones sitting next to it at the traffic light?! I would love it, and I bet it would be pegged out to the max most of the time!!

I would like to see both a gauge with a warning light on the gauge face. I drive a tractor trailer and have had times where I didn't catch the manual gauge change. Like one winter about 5 am the heater stopped blowing hot air. Then I saw the temp was pegged and the volts were on 10v. Come to find the serpentine belt broke! No alternator or water pump. A light would have caught my attention. But I agree the temp gauge on the retro birds is misleading. John

Anyone know if any of this info is available via the On Board Diagnostics plug? If so, it would be an interesting challange to read that data and write an application that could display the info on a display device such as an iPod or iPad.

Thanks Sealy....looks like someone has already created a new toy to do this. Would sure like to talk to someone who already has tried these out. I especially like the features such as the fuel milage info as well as the trouble codes.

Thats only available in their United Arab Emirates products.

I've been considering a Kiwi MPG - but the ratings are inconsistant. People either love them or hate them. It's only $90, so it may be worth it for the mpg functions and the codes. I'll report in if I decide to go for it.
