hey gobird
when i had my 02 tb blue i used a 3/16 Prostripe silver and charcoal 2 tone stripe on mine and it looked fantastic!! i dont have pics to show you but it was postioned like the red car above with it curved up to a point right at the front of the fender vents. you can easily remove it if you dont like it and is VERY easy to do!!

Ron! It looks great! Will Dennis follow suit? :) I especially think it will pop even more when the hardtop comes off and you have the dark soft top to help bring attention to the striping.

No Dennis is not going to follow me and add black stripping. I got the idea after seeing his car. We are "copy cats". Good thing we live 200 miles apart.

This is his Bird which you should be familiar with since you were instrumental in him buying it,LOL.

Ron, thanks for triggering a pinstripe experiment I just finished on my TBird. I had 5/16" double white pinstripes hanging around in the nest, and because of the way your car was done, I wanted to see it in white against TBird blue. I like it.

Here's pinstriping on the T-Bird I'am purchasing. It's painted on. My wife doesn't like it. I don't mind it but probably like it without it. The owner also had the emblems painted the same color something I wish he had not done. I'm thinking of ordering two new ones from Ford and replacing them....Any thoughts on the striping or if you would leave or remove it. And the painted emblems? I know he wanted to match the striping but I like the original....Thxs..AD

Hey Anthony, those TB blue or Aqua pin stripes are a great idea. But I thought that the T-Bird logo's looked stock?

Mark, the stripping looks great with the white top and whitewalls. That's the finishing touch the car needed.

Anthony -- The Tbird emblems have not been painted by the previous owner. They come that way. If you order a new set they will have the tourquoise wings also.

Anthony, Are you saying the previous owner painted over the stock turquoise color? Like Marty said, all Birds from 02 to 05 had this section painted that color.
