Re: NEW INTERIOR EDITION
OK, Here you go. I'm pretty sure someone on here has done this before but a first for my car.
When I had to have my left tail light replaced after Dearborn I had a problem, I had the old Thunderbird wing decal on my tail lights. Well, the new lens didn't have it and my dealer even called me because he couldn't find one like the original in Ford stock and wanted to know if it was something I added and I said yes, don't worry about it. I do have another set of these decals somewhere but haven't been able to find them after we made the move to FLA. So I got the right side decal off and started thinking........ I know that's dangerous!
What I decided to do was take two of the 4 1/2" wings we sell in the TBN Store and ground all the tabs off of them. I then, very carefully bent each side of each wing to fit the contour of the tail light lens. I then used some 3M auto tape I had laying around and took a craft knife and cut off the extra. I then centered each one and placed it in the middle of each lens and here is the result.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
