Here is what I did. I got some Gorilla Super Glue and re-glued the original rubber pads. After I know that is real dry I will reinstall the rack but for an added safe guard I bought four Neoprene Rubber Fender Washers that have a 1/4 hole in the middle but are 1 1/2" OD. That way if there is any slippage at all I should have it covered.
Once I get it remounted I'll post a pic with the back-up washer installed.
Elle,Take Note if you are remounting yours.

Thanks, Spence...I'll get to H.D. after the storm passes tomorrow and pick up the necessary washers. What dept will I find them? Plumbling? I just love wandering around, not knowing where to look for something, and our particular H.D. doesn't have very knowledgable associates. I usually get side-tracked into either the gardening or appliance section, and I don't think Charley would like me coming home with a new koi pool or refrigerator! Yuk, yuk!
sigpic Goldilocks~Venomous~Moondoggie Drive like you mean it!! ~Elle~

I went to HD last Sunday for some paint and came home with one of these for Sue!
Now before any comments, she asked for a new one.
She said the old one was too hard to handle.
She will not let me do the snow because she wants my weekly pay checks to keep coming .
Elle & Spence in case you forgot it's called a snow blower!
Elle, Go into the hardware dept. Nuts,Bolts etc. Look for a big plastic thing full of draws or small doors. Could also be a metal cabinet with long metal draws in it depending on the store. The washers come one per plastic pack and were $.80 per washer.
