After a month waiting, the deal was finally complete yesterday and I finally got my 03 T-Bird. I went to the Bay area to pick it up yesterday and drove it home. What a ride! My regular ride is a 4x and this is quite a change. It was hard to keep it under 80.... I may have paid a little more than I wanted too but I think it will be well worth it.....Looking forward to miles of fun. After growing up my admiring the T-Birds from the 60's and early 70's and riding in my Uncle's when I was really young, it's so weird to think that I have a T-Bird parked in my garage and it's mine. I wonder what my neighbors are going to think?.....AD

Last weekend we just went out for a quick spin, I just happened to stop at a GM
dealer. When you drive in with a T-Bird you will have a salesman all over you in ten
seconds. Anyway they had a 2009 G6 Pontiac hardtop convertible there, and it did
get my attention. I took it out for a ride let me tell you did I appreciate my eight year
old T-Bird. You made the right choice which you will not regret. Enjoy it as I do.Comment

SugarBabe (Kim) felt exactly the same way as you when she went up to Dublin to pick up our new T-Bird, and drove it back home on January 15, 2002. We've had many miles of FUN, FUN, FUN since then!
TBN is a GREAT GROUP of T-Bird enthusiasts!
Many events to attend, and many more in the future.
By the way, where do you live in Central Cal?

One newbie to another, congrats! I know you will love yours as much as we all do here at the nest.
If everybody worried about the neighbors we would all be driving beige Hondas or Black SUVs... wait a minute, that IS what all the neighbors drive! You have just shown them you have great taste and are an individual.

If you are ever having a DOWN or BAD day all it takes is a short spin in the bird and you are back in a great mood. Know you are going to LOVE the bird..And getting to know others tht have the retros only make it better. Glad you found the nestComment
