I definately like that and with the wings. That and head light bezels may do it for me, and scoop. Looking forward to seeing that in Apopka Ron

I got them from QAA, he no longer shows them on his website but when I needed to replace them [the tips snag rags very easily] I sent an email and he had some left.

I got them from QAA, he no longer shows them on his website but when I needed to replace them [the tips snag rags very easily] I sent an email and he had some left.

John I sent a request to QAA and here was their reply:

Hi Ron,
We discontinued those per request of the Ford Motor Company.

Since they own a copyright on most thunderbird logos you need their permission to copy it.

A couple years ago they threatened to shutdown all Mustang Forums for using the Mustang name & logos on their website without Ford's permission.

Ok so all the aftermarket stuuf in catalogs has to have Fords permission to produce ????

The product does not need Ford permission. Just cannot use
Ford logo without permission. I don't think you can sell t-shirts featuring a large illustration of a Thunderbird, Buick etc without a license agreement.

I did not know or suspect that, as there is so much out there. Surely there has to be a time limit as in a patten. Dennis Carpenter must have a vault full of liscense agreements then.
