"I" found it!
Or I really should say George "found" it today. The sad part is George did not tell me he was going there and did not call me when he saw it
Of course, HE doesn't carry a camera around - oh wait! he has a cell phone with that feature!
Anyway, It is now at a major private collection here in the DFW area. Think - a place to visit for some future "local" gathering. Plus there are several other comcepts from that auction there -- including - get this -- the concept Lincoln Mark X! - the one everyone here drools over.
sigh! well we do know the curator so we can go almost any time - it's just a matter of getting George in the mood

Finally made it over to see the supercharged concept Thunderbird. Took lots of pictures (but probably not enough!). They have tried over the last couple of months to see if the supercharger would work if it really is on the car but had a hard time even making the car run. Don't know if it was deliberately disabled or if those at Ford never really got it going right as Jim Youngs said was the case with it. At least the one that Jim Youngs worked with, runs right. But not the case with the Show Car. Took pictures anyway as there's lots of trim on it that some might be interested in seeing.
