Re: TBIRD and DIV0RCE
I sold my cashmere in late Sept with 8400 miles, absolute perfect condition in every way including none of the dreaded stains on the soft top, for about that price. Being it is winter the sale of a 2 seat convertible might be a bit sluggish since you are in MI. Would be better, if you can, to wait until spring.
Maybe it will not come to having to sell. But, to your question, $26K would be good assuming perfect condition.Lonestar
It was a smile in every mile
Gotta love that American Ride

Re: TBIRD and DIV0RCE
YIKES!!!!
My divorce was final on 11/24. Not fun and since we didn't have any property to separate, ours was fairly easy... yet I digress.
I'm thinking you should try to keep the bird...you're gonna want a fun ride THAT TURNS HEADS, once it's over.
Hopefully, she isn't thinking the same thing.

Good Luck!

Re: TBIRD and DIV0RCE
Its nearly perfect but there is a small little dent on the passenger side. I also had to have the front bumper cover repainted. It was peeling from the factory. I also put chrome 5 spoke thunderbird wheels on it replacing the 16 spoke wheels (which I still have)Originally posted by Lonestar View PostI sold my cashmere in late Sept with 8400 miles, absolute perfect condition in every way including none of the dreaded stains on the soft top, for about that price. Re: TBIRD and DIV0RCE
The peeling bumper was fixed right after I got the car.Originally posted by merlot4 View PostI hope you can keep the bird and get on with things, but your price sounds reasonable if you take care of the peeling bumper. Good luck.Last edited by TBirdChris; Dec 7, 2010, 10:01 AM.

Keep the Bird and give her the 16 spoke wheels. Times 4 makes 64 spokes..Originally posted by TBirdChris View PostI also put chrome 5 spoke thunderbird wheels on it replacing the 16 spoke wheels (which I still have)
Fair deal

Re: TBIRD and DIV0RCE
Be real, you'll never get 26K for it with a dent in it and the wrong wheels. In this economy and this time of year I think you would be lucky to get 22K for it, if that. Put it on Ebay and put a 26K reserve on it and see what you can get, it'll only cost you about $25.00 bucks. Or try craigslist.com, it's free. Good Luck! Leroy

Re: TBIRD and DIV0RCE
I have the right wheels in storage. The good thing is they are mint. Barely any miles on them. The dent could probgably be fixed by one of those paintless dent repair places too. No paint missing. Just a dent when I pumped my lawn edger into the car by accident.Originally posted by Leroy View PostBe real, you'll never get 26K for it with a dent in it and the wrong wheels.
