Personal Checks

Our local Thunderbird Club has its own checking account where we use personal checks with a Thunderbird background or watermark. We are about to use up our last book of blank checks and would like to order more. We last ordered checks in the year 2000 from Kansas Bank Note Company. I have not been able to contact them thinking that they are no longer in business.

Do any members use personal checks with a Thunderbird in the background? If you do, could you let me know the printing company or where you ordered the checks?

Personally, I haven't written a check in a very long time...everything is done on-line, but if you'd like to design your own, try HERE. Hope this helps.

The Kansas Bank Note company is listed in Fredonia, KS. Their number is 620 378-2146


Alternatively, you might try Delux Corporation. They are the largest printer of checks in the world and can print just about any kind of check you would like. Here's their website:

Thank you for your replies. I tried several times via web site and the old and new phone numbers to contact Kansas Bank Note Company with no success. We do most of our transactions electronically, as noted week haven’t ordered checks for almost eleven years. I did find two printing companies that will print checks with photo(s) in the background and I selected the best option.

Thanks for the updates. I too have bought checks thru the Kansas Bank Note Company and am due to order new ones. I'll do some checking too.

Their website says "Business Transition in progress"
