I just got a new Lincoln MKT has button on consul to press into manual, sign comes up on odomoter manual shift, I have two paddle shifters on the steering wheel, very cool better than the one on my 2009 MKS that I traded in.
I haven't tried it yet but I understand that if you like to race just get the car up to about 100 mph and manuely put it in "R".

I did that as a kid in my father's 1953 Pontiac catalina just screwing around. It cost my father a bunch of money he did not have.
