    Re: N0 problem

Mine is an 02, owned it from new. Also driven in snow and all kinds of weather for a little over the first three years in Pa.as a full time driver. It has 70,000+ miles on the clock. They replaced the hydraulic cooling fan during the first three year factory warranty. I never took out an extender warranty.

The only thing besides wear and tear things replaced was a new thermostat done by the dealer here in Fla. a year ago.

Have to add, my CD player did bite the dust last year. Haven't replaced it yet.

      Re: N0 problem

I bought my 02 in November of 09. The used car dealer was very questionable looking, and made it sound too good to be true. I exected all kinds of problems, and have had not even the least, other than the car was missing the top tool and owner's book. This car is beat on every time it goes out and hasn't missed a beat.

Purchased my '03 new, only problems have been power door lock actuator and two ABS sensors. No extended warranty, I'm way ahead of the game.

              Re: N0 problem

I've had my 04 since 07, put about 11,000 miles on it so far with no problems. It goes to the Ford dealer for oil and fiter changes and tire rotation. 4 yr. Extended Premium warranty 0% deductable expires 08/11 at that time I will extend it again for 3 years and then just before the 3 years expire I'll extend it for the last time for 4 more. After that? I might sell it. Leroy

I hope I live that long?

Bought my Black '04 off a Ford dealer's lot in March '09 after seeing it advertised in the local newspaper. It had 2,900 miles on it, and now only has less than 4,000 mil. Has only had oil changes. No problems of any kind to date. No warranty. Garaged and only driven occasionally on sunny days. Plan to keep and jprobqably pass to one of the children!

                    Re: N0 problem

New in 12/2005 with 2,600 miles.
No extended warranty; may as well pay as you go. So far so good.
Will have radiator flushed and new coolant added next month along with annual LOF as precautionary maintenance and have the mechanic check out what else may need to be done as routine.
Keeping my fingers crossed or your outta here! Kidding.

                      Re: N0 problem

Bought our '05 in April, 2006. Had 11,004 miles on it, now as 36,000.
The only problem(?) I've encountered is having to charge the battery the last 2 springs after winter storage. It gets serviced regularly. I imagine the tires will be going in a year or two.
                      Good Luck!

My Original (Manage the Wait) 02 EB, ZERO problems, traded her for Claires Merlot. I know the current owner......still ZERO problems.

Our 02 NM, ZERO problems while I owned her. Bob Stone did have the Power Steering Pump replaced (Full Warranty). (I did have a tire go bad, but Michelan stood by it)Now she resides with a Collector.

My 02 IY, currently at 51,000. ZERO problems. Prior Owner kept her very well maintained and ALL Records. No issues.

Now the 04 Merlot. Only issue with her, was the A/C just this past Summer. That was a Warranty Fix. Oh and a speed sensor..but that was me.forgot to switch off the T/C when playing arround :-)

Replaced a battery last year. Tires are in good shape but I think they have to get replaced before Texas Thunder as a precaution.

                              Re: N0 problem

                              2005, 14500 miles.

The battery was defective after about 2 years and 8000 miles. This resulted in the paint being eaten off the rear bumper and the bumper having to be repainted. The oxygen sensor failed at about the same time. Otherwise, A-OK. I love the car.
