I am shipping my 02 Torch Red Tbird to my condo in Florida. It will not be drive for several months at a time. Any recommendations for battery and fuel (and anything else)? Do you recommend a battery switch, and if so, where should be attached? Should I use a fuel stabilizer? Many thanks in advance! kb

Re: Tbird Storage
Kent, I would use the stabilizer and if you have a place to plug in put a Battery Tender on it.
Not sure what you mean by a battery switch? They are Here. Scotty, beam me up!IT'S 5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHEREVisit the TBN Store

If that's the case ,for myself, I would leave the battery hooked up and use the battery tender. They are Here. Scotty, beam me up!IT'S 5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHEREVisit the TBN Store

Re: Tbird Storage
Ken ,just keep in mind Florida heat can play havoc on a battery.Like Spence said use a tender and remove the battery if you can't plug in.If you use a disconnect your shutting down power to the vehicle anyway and will have to re-programs .I've left my Bird three weeks with no problem starting with a good battery.sigpic
