    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-82-...3#ht_500wt_925
Only 12,000 miles and starting at 50K - buy it at 65K - Original Retail 53,390. Probably not too bad of a price for that 1 of 82.
The only odd thing said in the add was"
"WHAT MAKE IT A COLLECTOR IS THE "INCA GOLD" PAINT WHICH IS FROM THE ORIGINAL DYE LOT OF THE 1955 T-BIRD"

Well, I looked pretty close at that and I think it is the handle off of a "Water Closet" that just happened to fit.
The price may be a bit over but look at the prices paid for cars at the auctions that don't seem to make sense. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.
If I had that kind of money to spend though it would be right at the top of my list along with this:

Just cause I had one like it in that color in 69. As I recall, I paid about 4,400 for it then.

I noticed it also had one of those "MANUEL" transmissions.

Hmm.....I've got one in my garage with 15,000 miles that looks exactly like this. I'll make anyone a screaming deal at $48,000.

Heck for $65K I would seriously think of selling my Inca and it has less than 6K on it. It also has english leather Inca seat inserts to make it 1 of 1 and documentation that shows it shipped on the day they stop the production line at Wixom.

I can relate to that. The Mach that I paid 4,400 for and then sold the next year for just about what I paid for it and bought a 70 VW Camper because I was going to be stationed in Hawaii... Well, even if the guy doesn't get the 70K he wants but only gets 50K - still not too bad of an investment. As is said "Who wooda thunk?"

A GOOD DAY FOR ME, NIEMAN MARCUS FOR $29,000 AND AN INCA GOLD FOR $65,000. BETTER THAN FORD STOCK. AND I JUST BOUGHT THEM TO RIDE IN.

A low mileage Nieman Marcus like new $29,000 is a realistic price. The Inca
Gold being on E-Bay a $25,000 bid would surprise me.

To Jim (AZTB) white top and white walls sets it apart from a plain yellow. I
recently made a remark about the 04 yellow repaint just looked blah. A law
should be enacted all retro birds must be sporting white walls.

I DID NOT THINK THIS WAS A LOW MILEAGE CAR.
Our perpetual garage queens and "I'm going to save it as a collector item to get rich" crowd sure have changed the definition of low mileage.

An almost 10 year old car with 56K miles by most normal, everyday measurements would be considered a low mileage car. All an owner would have to do is go to a few TBN events a year and out to dinner every once in a while to be close to that mileage.

An average, 10 year old daily driver car in the US would probably be looking at about 120K miles or more.

Ron, you get to spread your mileage around enough to keep them all in the low mileage range.
                            21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

I SEE YOUR POINT, I SHOULD HAVE SAID LOW MILEAGE RETRO-THUNDERBIRD. BY THE WAY, I HAVE PUT OVER THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND ON MINE THIS PAST YEAR.
