  • So long and Goodbye!

The morning came with no sun only clouds as I washed and cleaned the BondBird for the last time. Somehow the skys matched my mood.
By lunch time the sun was out and the 'Bird was gleaming brightly for it's new owners when they arrived.
It is sad to say good bye to the car even though we had a breif time together. (10 months) But the decission was made and even if I do have sellers remorse, I know Tammi and Brian are enjoying the ride from North Carolina back to their home. All you had to do was see the look in Tammi's face to know the car is in good hands.
So goodbye to you all. Thanks. This place is special and an oasis for Bird owners (I don't have to tell you guys that).

    Hi David - -

How sad - for you. How happy - for Tammi and Brian.

I have fond memories of time spent together celebrating our Birds last Fall.

Best wishes to you, and to your Dad and Jeff.

David, it's always sad to see someone have to part with their car but the bright side is that someone else is now enjoying it. So, which direction did Tammi and Brian head out in? You did clue them in on TBN, right?

Glad you found a good buyer. Do you still have your 75?

Well ~~ how funny that I just happened on to this forum post this evening!! LOL

I am the Tammi that David spoke of. It made me sad to read this, I hate it that David is missing his BondBird! However ~ he is correct in knowing that this car is in good hands and already well loved!

Brian and I drove from North Carolina to our home in Missouri in STYLE!! This 007 Thunderbird is the most beautiful car that I have ever seen! And it was absolutely spotless when we picked it up. I have wanted a Thunderbird since the day they were introduced, finally my dream has come true!

A special thank you goes out to David and Jeff, who made this transaction so easy and pleasant. We enjoyed meeting you guys, we feel like we now have friends in North Carolina. We are loving the T-Bird, and we are looking forward to making more new friends here on TBN!

Sorry you had to part with your T-Bird David. Maybe some day there will be another one for your nest.
