    Why do vendors continue to put a "continental kit" on the back of the retro Thunderbirds. None of them really looked good, some were just better than others but still bad. This last one looks like the bass drummer in a marching band leaned his drum on the back of a Thunderbird. Aaron has a great supply of after market toys for our cars but this one is terrible. just my 2 cents.

          Well he was asking for opinions .....He's getting them and all negative. He may also find the car a little light in the front.

            Might be ok for travelling as it will open up quite a bit of trunk space, especially when combined with the trunk rack. Easy to remove and put the spare back in the trunk when not going on trips.
            Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

                The high school band drummer doesn't have to suit up his drum now during parades ... He can just walk behind the beauty queen's T-Bird ... HIDEOUS

                    Not my style. The last continental kit (actually a faux version) I liked on a modern car was on my mom's 1970 Continental Mark III 40-years ago.

                      With trunk rack AND continental kit I'm not sure my front tires would touch the ground!!

                              The trunk rack serves a purpose and it does work. I have one and have used it. I just don't care for this new add-on.

                              If you take a week or longer trip the trunk rack helps a lot. We will be using it for the Texas Event.
