  • Vintage Mint Green - So How Much To Pay??

Thanks for the responses to my earlier questions guys.. I appreciate it!

    Now, here is the question...

What is a reasonable price to pay for one, that is fair to the seller and fair to me? Let's assume perfect condition and, say, 6K to 10K miles...

A price where, down the road, I wouldn't lose much.

    All input appreciated.

    Thanks - Roger

With that mileage you could go into low to mid twenties and be fairly safe in longterm. I don't think theese cars are going much lower than they are now and that's pretty low mileage. Plus a Fl car usually hasn't seen road salt.

I agree with Rondor, it's a relatively rare color, a beautiful color and Thunderbirds seem to have sort of bottomed out pricewise, unless they have been beat to death, or wrecked.

The pricing of the 2002-2005 Tbirds are pretty much following the pattern set by the baby birds of 1955-1957. Those cars were just used cars in the early 60s unless they were low mileage and pristine. By the late 60s and early 70s they started their move upward as collectibles.

Is the 2002 dash and wheels part of the 2004 VMG package? or what's wrong here?

Don't know about the dash but they sure look like '02 rims and cap. My '04 brochure show's the optional white inserts with a black dash

...looks like the last owner changed out the white shift knob for a black ink one and has changed the rims and caps.....

Is it just me or does the canvas top look like it has some mildew on it?

Wow, this is some scary stuff. It scores above range and passes all the so-called checks, but what is the real story?

Last month when I was thinking about getting rid of mine due to trans problem, I asked my Ford dealer what he would give me on a trade in if trans was working. He said 18k and my cars mileage is 43k. I paid 25k in 2007 with 36k on clock. I would take 21k but no less if I wanted to sell, which I don't. My new trans is Ford warranteed 10 yr/100,000k.

This maybe one to see the title on it. Could be a stolen & recovered thus the mix of parts ??? or an owner with individual taste. No accidents reported and no stolen car reported there is a buy-back warranty with the car thru e-bay soooo ???
