  • Steering requires great strength

Hello! I am driving a 2004 Thunderbird in Austria/Europe. We have no Ford Garages with experience on US cars in our country. Sice some weeks the steering needs a lot of strength when I am diving about 30 to 50 miles/h. The power steering is well working standing, also when driving on highways. I need the most strenght when roling throug towns. Maybe anybody of you can help me.
Best greetings from the Alps. Reinhold

    Welcome to TBN Reinhold!

I looked back thru old threads using the "search" key, and entering "power steering problems. This is what I found:

    Random comment:
"It was the pressure switch in the line.Got switch and flushed system and everything worked!"

Here are a couple of threads that might be helpful
