Only the COPS are covered by the 100,000 mile warranty unless you paid for an extended warranty.

someplace on this site is a copy of the letter...it covers cops and ALSO two repairs...that have to do with the cop failure.......and they will do the repairs if you want them done?

Actually it's lmartun (first letter "L" for Lou). Others have had difficulty reaching his email because of the same "i" vs "l" error.

But Lou is the man to contact for the best extended warranty pricing/service!

My PCM was also covered by Ford and my L/M dealer told me there covered for 100K.

The PCM and other various emission control parts are warrantied for 8 years or 80,000 miles. This warranty is EPA mandated and applies to any
car sold in the USA.

The following is quoted from the Warranty Guide for my '06 F-150 (which is currenty in the dealership shop for repairs).

"8/80 for certain emissions parts (Catalytic converters, Powertrain Control Mdule PCM),Electronic Emissions Contro Unit (ECU), Transmission Control Module (TCM), onboard emissions diagnostic device, and Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) module (Bi-fuel/CNG) for passenger cars and light-duty trucks only">

You maybe right John ,they said 100K .All I know is they towed me,gave me a rental for free and had the Bird back in 4 days (they had to get the PCM) .This was 3 yrs ago.
