Re: Looking for Leather Gear Shift Cover or Part Number
I did a Thunderbird and LS parts search for leather wrapped shifter knob and they are not listed on any of the sites I am aware of. I know there have been members who have replaced the leather wrap knob with the various colors. Others have replaced color knob with the the leather wrap. If anyone knows the part number for leather wrap knob I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Re: Looking for Leather Gear Shift Cover or Part Number
Roger, did you try oemfordparts.com? They show a black shift knob and a black ink shift knob for model years 02-04. I don't know if either one is leather, because there is no picture. The parts manager at my local Ford dealer has been a great resource for me. He can access hard to find parts through the Ford dealership network. Good luck in your search.

Re: Looking for Leather Gear Shift Cover or Part Number
If it's any help, my '05 Workshop Manual shows the "Transmission selector lever handle" (shift knob, to me) as Part Number 7L010. Page 307-05-19 to -20; Automatic Transaxle/Transmission External Controls; Transmission Lever. The handle (shift knob) can be removed by dropping its lower cover and removing two setscrews.- Ted
