black E-Bird would have been the better buy. Should have gone higher unless bidders saw something you missed, Joe.

A #1 condition 57 true E should have been double that price. If a D bird with manifold mod and two 4 barrels added then most likely right price. Need to see it up close to dertermine why this low.

I didn't rank 'em - I am just stating what was on the info sheet. The colonial white was my choice: the owner was there and was happy to answer any questions. He was selling due to his age and health. As he said to me "it's time for her to have a new home and be enjoyed by someone else."

I was mystified at the e-code price: the bidding stalled so the owner rep lifted the reserve. I think it was a family selling it out of an estate.

            Kevin & I didn't bid on anything.

Car prices are down, did any one watch the Barret/Jackson Auction. They have now let sellers put a reserve on their cars.

Yes prices are down especially on older restorations. People drawn to the older cars are aging and dying off. I can't believe what customs and one of a kinds bring tho' I think there may be a resurgeance of the old stuff down the road just because of the simplicity of them. Only well equipped proffessionals will be able to deal with today's stuff.
