This listing was already covered on a previous thread. The person that followed up on the add said to be very cautious as it could be a scam.
It could have been a typo, but craigs list brings the idiots and morons out of the woodwork. I have made a few sales on it but no purchases. I hate it too, but they say it is the most successfull.
I know some swear by it but I DESPISE Craig's List... If I ever meet Craig it aint gonna be pretty ~!
It's not Craig, he's a nice guy and very contentious. It's the moronic users of his venue that give Craigslist a bad name. Don't shoot the messenger--it's like beating up on local newspapers because they report bad news.
Is this a post about Craigslist or a top for sale?
THREAD Title is "Too good to be true? " ... So if you think there's a Top On Craig'scam List for $100 go ahead & send me a $100 TOO while you're at it ~!
Again, it's about a top,a cheap price, the seller, not CL, anyone interested should be able to determine if it's legit or not by simply responding to seller and getting the response from them. The previous thread regarding this top uncovered it was suspecious.
ummm... i talked with the person... 100 was not a misprint... at least in the add i saw as i e-mailed them many times mentioning the $100 back and forth. they agreed to sell it at $100 and were ready to make the deal. i just wanted a picture or 2 first before i sent a member of our site up there to get it only to find its just a shell or something. top was stored in an offsite location (mothers house i think) and the seller kept promising a picture or 2 and did not deliver. after about a week and a half when i called by phone they said they wanted to keep it. i bet they just sold it for more cash. this was not you right rick? if it was , all apologies as i know your are an upstanding member and have helped many here but from my end the deal seemed real sketcy. my guess was it was a. a stolen top or b. leftover from an estate.
