Well, you could put on a Camelbak, but it might be a bit uncomfortable against the seat back. Maybe put it on backwards? Blue to complement the car?

      Congatulations Tina!
Keep the center caps on, but, there's no reason you can't purchase an extra set...

        Re: 03 in my sights!

very much appreciated input. Okay. I don't need to put the car in bubble wrap, or take off hubcaps, but given Wallaby's advise I might need a catheter :)
I'm just beside myself thinking that I finally have one of these fantastic cars. I think I will get to work on the extended warranty so I can have that in place for the drive. I've emailed the man recommended for that here on TBN. Lemme know if there's anything else I should do, besides buy diapers - Wallaby! :)

Take a camera with you and record your journey home with the car. Then post the pics here. We'll enjoy the story and the photos.

Best way to contact Lou is to call him Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. He is currently in China visiting his daughter and won't be back until next week. Sometimes he can't get to all his emails, so CALL HIM! He will take care of you immediatly that way.

                  Re: 03 in my sights!

I'm pretty partial to DSB myself! I live in Alabama and bought mine on Ebay from a seller in Long Island. I flew to N.Y. and drove it back and it was a blast, a chance to really bond with the car. It was surprisingly comfortable and a great Interstate cruiser. Welcome aboard.

                    Re: 03 in my sights!

I am so looking forward to the drive. I 'm worried I'll forget some little thing that will make the trip smoother. I'm just a new bird mama, and getting excited! (insert crazy jumping cartoon here) I haven't done a long road trip by myself, so I'm also just a tad nervous. Awesome hubby is in school finishing his accounting degree so he can't go, and my teenagers would just try to run the radio, so I'm going alone. :)

One thing - can I connect my ipod in any way?

Tina - where is the Bird located?

For the iPod you would have to use one of those fm transmitters (think that is what you call em). Would be nice to have the plug just to plug it in. I keep all my old music on the iPhone as well as a Tom Tom gps.

I'll look forward to loading a "cleaner shot", but for now - what interior color is this - standard?
