Soft top for 2005 T-Bird..Cashmere/sand

It's time for me to get a new top for my 2005 t-bird that is cashmere. Any ideans/suggestion on vinyl vs original. Would like a slightly darker top the thje original "sand" color. Thanks

Terry, here is a link to the thread I started after replacing my top. I also went darker and with vinyl. Our tops were actually Light Stone rather than Sand.
There is another thread where several of us discussed the vinyl vs canvas tops, if i can find it I will edit here and add that link as well.

Good friend of mine just got a new Mustang convertable with the light color top, actually sand vs light stone but it is vynal but ahs look and almost feel of the cloth. We have another member here in the Dallas area that had ford replace his top on the Cashmere with a black cloth. Not a bad look. I will try and find a couple of pictures as well. Love the original but have the problem with stains.

Mike, The vinyl on the new Mustangs is the same sailcloth vinyl that I had my top made from. I chose the sailcloth vinyl because of the similar look and texture as the canvas. Its on the new Ford Mustangs and many chrysler products. It comes in many colors, sand, sandalwood as I chose, black, various other shades.

.....Haartz was the original supplier of the black cloth tops...have a look....
