White Wall Tires

Does anyone know where I can get White Wall tires. Would prefer that they were not Vulcanized type. Thanks, Terry..Ga USA

They are all vulcanized. Nobody makes proper W/W tires for these cars. I am on my second set of Diamond Backs with out any problems.

Just make sure the tire does not have any raised lettering or design in the whitewall
area. I have Vogues and they are hell to keep clean due to all the raised lettering and
stars on the whitewall area.

Diamond Back polishes the sidewalls smooth before vulcanizing the white on, so it doen't matter about that is on the sidewall.

I have Vogue on my Caddy, on my second set with 50K they don't wear to well IMO .First set changed at Cadillac with 23K at $100 per now they want $165 per. I won't buy them again .Poor traction on wet roads but they look great. P.S. rotated every 5K and wheel alignment at 12K

I also got mine from Diamond Back with absolutely no problems. It allowed me to switch to a Michelin 55 series to better "fill" the wheel wells, and I would definitely buy them again. The whitewalls sparked a series of mod events, so when you look at it that way, maybe they cost me a few bucks, but it was and continues to be worth it.

Already starting to get a Spring itch.

I have Vogue on my Caddy, on my second set with 50K they don't wear to well IMO .First set changed at Cadillac with 23K at $100 per now they want $165 per. I won't buy them again .Poor traction on wet roads but they look great. P.S. rotated every 5K and wheel alignment at 12K

Ed,I have the same Caddy as yours and now have 63K miles on the Vogues. Had the car in to the dealer last week for an inspection and all tires show 6mm. I believe new ones are at 11mm. Absolutely no problems. I was ready to order a new set but I'm going to wait a while. The Vogues on the Bird are fine also. Cleaning them can be a bit of a pain especially from the brake dust. It must be your aggressive driving habits,LOL.

Your lucky Ron I've heard more than one driver complain at Cadillac about them. Maybe the S.Fl. heat and road conditions

Alex, what I found that really works is "Simply Green". Just spray it on,wipe with a paper towel and then spray again and use a terry cloth towel to rub out the dirt and it's like magic,Clean Whitewalls.I have tried most all the cleaner products and nothing even comes close to this.
